I have a character on Nighthaven, only to bide my time waiting to see if/when a PvE server would become available. I will not jump ship because it took too long to get Stratholme running, or for whatever security rumors are floating around. I'm fine with all that. I'm not staying for any friends or guildies. I'm staying because this has long been called the best private server. I am lurking these forums to see if there's ever going to be a PvE server choice again, and if not, THAT, is the reason I jump ship. I'm sure I'm not the only one. About HALF the people that were polled, wanted PvE. How many that never even bothered or saw the poll wanted it?

It's every bit the Vanilla as I remember it. There's no option for PvE anymore though, so once you get past the low stuff you'll have to PvP or find another private server.

Thank you for your understanding that people whose opinion differs from yours also have the right to those opinions. Most PvP players don't see that. I can't imagine it would have a negative impact, since those of us who don't PvP will not play on Nighthaven anyway. I have a toon there level 13 and have no intention of going past 20 or so since that's about the time the fun will cease for me. So, in the lower level zones you may have a few less players, but in the higher zones, I would expect the same amount of players. As it stands, if there's no PvE option on Elysium servers, well, ALL of us who do not PvP will be forced to withdraw. I really don't think any of us will stick around & just accept that we have to be ganked.

Yeah. Most times, I DO. I get my quest objectives, can skin, mine, etc to my heart's content without some child who takes pleasure in making life difficult for others ruining my time, and it's relaxing. I LOVE it that way.

How do they expect to gather population by eliminating everyone who doesn't enjoy PvP?? That's backward! They'll LOSE those players, not GAIN them. If they wanted to GAIN population they would have both options available.

I would prefer a calm, peaceful vanilla experience where I do not have to worry about being ganked and camped for eternity. Yeah it appears it's going to be PvP one way or another. The poll shows a small percentage difference in favor of PvP, so those who like ganking people get even more of what they already have, and those of us who don't like it, get to either join up with people who stole data or just wait on Blizzard. Too bad. I had been sending friends to Elysium.

There were millions playing retail. There are only a few thousand playing this. Seems like about the same experience as any specific zone chat, to me. If they limited each area I would think it would be far more obvious how few people you were playing with here, rather than making it more "authentic".

I don't PvP. I've tried a PvP server. I don't enjoy getting ganked when I'm just trying to level up on some quest that was already tedious enough on its own. I had intended to stay on Darrowshire even with the legacy server since I don't think they'll be the same, and even with low pop- I PREFER low pop- but, if this is going all PvP, I guess I'm out.

I tried logging into my character on Darrowshire, but it assigns me to Nighthaven every time. I've tried viewing all realms, and only Nighthaven is there- even when I check Normal mode. I don't want to PvP! What's going on?

Same issue here. Tried restoring, got that message- tried restoring password, it sent me a new one, tried that, same message. Came here to the forums, and had to "create a new account" to talk on the forums, but used my same username and email and password as what I already had- so, I HAD an account named Sibylldruid, but I DIDN'T and had to create it. Help! EDIT: Just noticed the note that says cannot restore characters under level 10- I may not have made it to 10 yet so that may be the issue. FINAL EDIT: Just logged into the game client with the "new" account I "just" created, and voila! There's my character!
