Hello newcomer, I am also a newcomer! I started WoW back in 2005 and the earliest patch I can remember was the ZG patch...I don't remember when it was implemented but I wasn't 60 yet (I wanna say i was in the 40's at the time). I played a NE hunter on US-Shadowsong and was in an end game guild by the time AQ came out and before I joined them I ran my own casual guild. I'll never forget those days. I played all the way up to Pandaria (with the occasional break in between expansions) Then I finally quit for good. The sense of there being any kind community was completely gone to me by the time pandaria came out due to cross servers and LFR...it just wasn't for me anymore. I haven't really thought much about WoW until recently with the announcement of classic servers and old friends talking about it. Also....My fiance mentioned having an interest in trying out the vanilla experience! But to be honest, I dont really want to wait until 2020 for that experience. I don't know if I even want to give blizz money for the experience just yet. Lets be honest, Blizzard isn't the same company it was 12 years ago; I have little faith that they'll be able to give us the true vanilla experience. BUT WHO KNOWS.
I haven't made any characters yet, I'm actually downloading a client as I'm typing this and it probably won't be finished downloading until tomorrow. I haven't decided if I'm gonna go full blown nostalgia and roll a hunter again or if ill make a different main. Part of me wants to get 'Delars again but part of me really wants to roll an UD rogue.
