While many players do want the fast paced progression. What do you do with the people like myself who started a new character on Stratholme to "ease" back into the game where we left off on vanilla retail? I spent 16 hours on a new character only to log out and come back from work and see this news of the server got the axe. Was the intended purpose only for character restoration and not for someone like myself who wanted to fall into a place in late game content? I'm really confused at this point and would at least like a cut and dry statement as to whether or not I will see the character that I had freshly started on Stratholme.
