Tried to download client

Can someone perhaps run me through the download process...I just went to their forum spot where they tell you what you need and all that stuff but I did that and I didn't even get to download the torrent or mega something before it started downloading all this фекал onto my computer, games, new address bars..a bunch of random virus related I'm sure programs, an anti virus thingy. I stopped and uninstalled everything and hopefully I didn't just вау my whole comp up but could someone please maybe skype or email or join up with me and run me through this process??

I had no problem downloading from the mega link, and I did it in the browser.  try that one.  Took les tha a half hour.

I have internet explorer and says it doesn't support it...I don't like chrome either everytime I install chrome I get hella popups like its infected or something.

Well if yer heart is set on the torrent, get an adblocker to stop the screen spam.

You don't have to.  You could download chrome again just for this and use the meg link.

It takes firefox too, right?  could use that and also install an adblocker on it.

What Pottu is saying next to the torrent file download link is that you have to have an application that deals with torrents to download that torrent file, like- http://www.utorrent.com

 

He's not saying you have to use that download link.

torrents are a complex sytem of downloading through file sharing created by an technologically advanced species from outerspace.  The important thiing to know is you need a torrent app like the one posted above, utorrent, in order to make the download.

 

Honestly if i were you,  I'd download chrome and do the Mega download..or firefox with that add-on up there and do the mega download.

I installed google chrome just to download mega. I followed the rest of the directions and the game is download and I can open it....I still haven't downloaded a torrent..is that okay? or do I HAVE to have one

Nah, you don't have to do the torrent at all.  yer good to go with just this download.

Ya, can't log in til the 17th.  You can't create a new account yet either.  When they announce that we can create accounts, follow all of Pottu's instructions on that page you were looking at yo.

Nope, those are two different things.  I know all of Pottu's remarks look daunting, it's only because he is covering every base, but read those when we can create GAME accounts.  They'll let us know when.  If the application is running for you now, yer in good shape.  Just follow the game account creation instructions when they say it's cool to go.
