Tribal 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 I would like to know what I can expect as far as latency from the pve server. I know it all comes down to where you live and where the server is located and the speed of your internet, but as a gamer who lives in San Diego California. With tested at 380mbps speed internet. What kind of ms numbers do you guys think I should expect? I mean if I can play Vanilla I would do it in a paper bag, in a rain storm with only phone speed internet if I had to. Just want to be prepared so to speak. I guess I got use to playing on retail as far as lat goes, and while on a west coast server i get around 9-13ms. I know not to expect that lol, but on kronos 2 i was getting 209ms and i know that normalish just would like it below 150 if i can. Any help would be awesome guys. Thanks in advance! -Tribal

Tribal 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) in high population server you can have 20 ms and 1 sec delay, ms mean nothing. Network latency is an expression of how much time it takes for a packet of data to get from one designated point to another. It will have an effect on spell delay. As far as your ms meaning nothing as you put it, I would have to say your half right. as your Latency in conjunction with the servers Latency has the most impact on your spell delay. While you can't cant help what the servers numbers are you can have an effect on yours. Edited December 15, 2016 by Tribal
