Concerning Nostalrius Transfer - No characters transfered.

I followed the instructions on the elysium FAQ about nostalrius transfers.
I created an elysium account, made a token, entered the token at the control panel. I suppose it was successful since there is no option to do it again on the control panel afterwards, but it wasn't. There are no characters on my account.

How can I proceed to make the transfer go as planned?
