Unable to resurrect

Sitting at my corpse trying to resurrect and no dice. the Accept button is able to be pressed (not greyed out) and I'm able to talk in general chat to other players.

 

I did have a lag spike when I was killed and where the client is showing my body and where I died on screen are a substantial ways apart. Not sure if this could factor in. Anyone else having this issue and if so has anyone found a fix? Thanks for any help in advance!

Try to delete "WDB" folder and restart the game.

No dice. I deleted the WDB and the config.wtf folders and restarted my client. These are the only two places I can think of the client caches information to delete and force a pull from the server.

 

Is there a way to contact a GM in game to see if they can alter my character condition?

I am also having this issue. Cannot spirit res either, the NPC doesn't even show up. I opened a ticket, but I doubt I'll hear anything back tonight.

Same. I died in Balnir Farmstead, Tirisfal Glades on PvP server. I was lagging the whole time while fighting but had a green bar only at a 99ms. It felt like I was lagging but my ping says I wasn't. Couldn't even see any other players, only their spells going off. Then I died, now I can't res. Accept button doesn't work. Removing addons, Alt F4, none of that works. I'm just staring at my corpse as a ghost

Okay, I was able to rez. I'll go through my troubleshooting steps, however anyone in the tech industry is going to cringe at my last few steps because I tried 5-6 things at a time and that was the one that worked. Sorry that I couldn't pinpoint exactly what worked.

 

1. Delete WDB and WTF folders in your WoW folder under program files. This (as I understand it) is where your client keeps all the cached information so now you're having to re-query from the server. This will eliminate all bad caches.

 

2. Second I attempted to log into another character on the same server.

 

3. I attempted to /reload ui

 

4. /script RetrieveCorpse()

 

5. These are the steps that actually worked: Run to the Spirit Healer and log out. Log into the other server (for me it was the PvE server). After this, I disabled all addons and logged back on. The Spirit Heals was spawned at this point. I re-ran the /script RetrieveCorpse() and /reload ui, ran to my corpse and was able to resurrect.

 

I feel like you won't have to do everything within number 5 for it work, but you can redo exactly what I did just to be safe. If I had a feeling, disabling all addons was probably the thing that did it, but I can't be 100% sure. Hope this helps someone else!

I left the game for a little while, maybe about a half hour to play a couple rounds of DBD. When I logged back on I was back at the graveyard with the spirit res there. I was able to return to my body and res. Not sure what fixed it, but it's working now.

same. i jus stayed logged out about 30min and was able to res. I think the game is just lagging really hard. all the npcs are missing and my pet doesn't follow me
