Kanahka 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2016 I tried to use the zeppelin from uc to orgrimmar and ended dropping off at the border of ashenvale. When i tried to use the boat from ratchet to bb i fell off somewhere near arathi highlands. Most of the travels end with your char lost in the limbo without the possibility to unstuck, use HS, etc....so in all, the inability to make continent switch. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

rich0dify 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2016 I believe this is an issue with the client, not the server\realm itself... I think this happens on all private vanilla servers. See all the top results here, numerous different servers: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=falling+through+zep+mac&pws=0&gl=uk&gws_rd=cr The way around it is to play via Wine, or at least switch to a Wine based client to travel between continents, not ideal, but it's the only way around it I've found. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I фекал you not. The boat to Auberdine takes me to Ratchet. The boat from Ratchet takes me out to the sea on the east side of Arathi Highlands. The boat to Menethil Harbor from Auberdine takes me to Ratchet. However! If you get on a boat and start to log out as soon as it starts moving. Definitely NO, it is perfectly working on some vanilla servers. In Rebirth for instance works flawlessly. Using wine is not a solution, id rather play in other place if they dont look at it. I can confirm this 100% works, at least for when I tested the Zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity (I'm assuming it will work for the other routes). Logging out as it departed, and then waiting 1 minute and 30 seconds before logging back had me safely arriving at Undercity. No falling off the Zeppelin as it comes into the port like on Nost, or ending up in Western Plaguelands like I did the first time I tried to get to Undercity on Elysium. The worst one was ending up off the coast of the Arathi Highlands when taking the boat from Ratchet to Booty Bay, I'll test that route next to make sure this method works there. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Bisqy 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2016 Sure, but it's mostly disadvantageous, especially for lower level characters that need these transports since they lack flight paths. Of the routes that I've tested, I've had these results across multiple characters in both factions: Menethil to Theramore = Feralas (near Dire Maul) Menethil to Auberdine = Ratchet Ratchet to BB = Arathi Highlands (in the ocean off the map) BB to Ratchet = stuck (The Barrens) Org to UC = EPL (east GY) UC to Org = Ashenvale (GY near Maestra's Post) Org to STV = EPL (east GY) If you do BB to Ratchet and get stuck, submit a ticket to the GM. They had me down in 5 minutes. If you do Ratchet to BB and end up in Arathi, prepare to die at least once from fatigue (druid can't make it). Thanks for the log out tip.
