Cant login to account "Information not valid"

Hey people!

 

Ive encountered a problem with the login and i would provide two print screens if i just could find the button to submit an image aswell.

 

The problem is as follows: When i try to login i get a message that says:

 

"The information you have entered is not valid. Please check the spelling of the account name and password. If you need help in retrieving a lost or a stolen password and account, see www.worldofwarcraft.com for more information."

 

Now ive tried to make sure ive made the spelling correct and made multiple tries and tried to reset the PW, i even made a new account (this one) and tried it aswell but i still receive the same message.

 

I also made sure it says "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org" in the realmlist txt.

I deleted the 1.12 wow map aswell in hope that something was wrong (i couldnt uninstall it in the win10 apps features) and "re-installed" it.

 

First account was a hotmail adress and this (account) ones a gmail.

Ive tried to google a solution and read the forums but to no avail.

 

First time ever playing on a private server so might have made a rookie mistake.

P.S A big thumbs up for this classic vanilla project and its crew, really been looking forward to try something like this.

You have received the email, and activated the account right?
Even though it's a gmail, you still need to activate it.

 

Also please provide the realmlist file here, copy paste it. Even though you were sure, I would like to see all the content in the file.

Yes, i have activated both of them.

 

As shameful it is to admit, i dont know how to copy pasta an actual file into the post (if its possible?)

Just open it in your text editor, and copy all the text directly into here.
You dont have to send the file, just the content.

I would suggest that you remove all contents in the file, and replace it with a direct copy and paste of the following:

set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org

 

Make sure there are no spaces before or after the text.

The content in the file was exactly: "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org" without quotations. Copy pasted yours just incase with the same results.

I didnt want to ninja the thread but i have similar problem as "Slowdive" in the thread https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=26690

 

Also i cant log in to https://elysium-project.org/control

 

This is my first account created and i havent played on Nostalrius before either and i get the exact message as Slowdive http://imgur.com/a/QhQRr

Have you tried to recover the password using: https://elysium-project.org/password
Considering you can't log into the control panel, the credentials must be wrong.

I tried to change the PW but it says my username or email is wrong but ive tried to log on to the forums now on both accounts and it works fine.

 

*edit should be username not password*

I had to create separate game account and forum account, I dont believe they are connected?

Are you sure you created an account on:

https://elysium-project.org/play

 

And not just on the forums?

I blame myself for not getting enough sleep before creating my account but thanks for that link, it works as it should now!
