Suspended Banned Accounts after being Mind Controlled head count

Hello,

Earlier today while in Arathi Basin I was mind controlled by a priest during a heavy lag spike and disconnected.  Upon trying to log in it displays the message saying my account is now suspend.

 

I've heard others are having this issue and would like to get a tally of how many others this is affecting currently.

 

Some friends have told me its and issue with their bug / mod tracker wrongly flagging accounts and freezing them.

 

This might not be such a big deal to some players, however I am a class lead in my guild and 85% of the way to rank 12.  Friends are saying that it took them 2 weeks to become unbanned, which would be absolutely devastating and potentially set me back weeks.  I don't have much free time these days and these next two weeks are my only opportunity to really hit the grind.  

 

I spoke with a GM in discord and they told me "this issue was the least of their worries" when compared to the lag and disconnections which is honestly preposterous.  I know this may not be affecting many accounts, but its a very serious issue if people's accounts are locked down for no reason.  It's enough to ruin the experience entirely and drive you away.
