Character Can't Get Unstuck

Hi.  I have a toon that was taking the boat from Auberdine to Menethil Harbor and got stuck.  When I attempt to use the auto unstuck tool I am told that my character 'can't do that while moving'.  When I attempt to hearth out I get the same message.  Any advice would be appreciated.
