Mac user -- stuck taking boat from EK to Kalimdor

I've had some issues before with this, but generally I have fallen through the world and ended up in a gy. I took the boat to Ratchet from BB, and all I see is blue sky.  I cannot log out.  Force quitting does not resolve this. I cannot hearth or anything because it thinks I'm moving. Please help!

Happened to me yesterday. Eventually got summoned out by a Warlock friend. In the future, this works every time:

1. Go windowed-mode. 
2. Jump on the boat.
3. When the boat leaves the dock (but before the loading screen) force exit WoW (push the red dot on the window).
4. Wait 2 minutes.
5. Log back in and appear on the boat at the destination.

I found 90 seconds worked just as well.

Logging out works, too, if you're not typically in windowed mode
