Disconnect after logging in with character

Hello,

As stated above I dont have any issues with logging into my account. Everything works fine untill I try to log in to my character itself. I can log in with my character but the server itself will instantly disconnect me after 2 seconds. I can even see other players running around for that small timeframe.

Some of the things I've tried that other people suggested:

• Deleting the game and unpackaging it again with winrar.
• Changing the WTF- and Interface folder names meanwhile deleting the WDB folder to make sure no addons are among the issues.

remove windows compatibility settings from shortcut.

windows xp sp2 setting esspecially.

If I remove those settings from the shortcut then I get an error when trying to start up the exe file.

I got it fixed by updating the compatability to windows 98
