Perma crash upon launch of wow application

Hello, I just got the base client from the website link that was provided, everything came through. i changed the realm list as stated, then clicked the application NOT the launcher, as i hear the launcher isnt the best thing to be pressing. Then it just crashed on me with this message. Reference memory at x000(i dont remember the whole name of it however it looked kinda like this), then said access violation with that error message. I have tried to launch it 9 times and i keep gettign this. any help would be nice.
