cannot change from read only.

Hi fam,

Having an issue I know some other people have had/are having whereby I am unable to change my WoW folder from read only.

I have tried:

-Using command prompt to run the attrib command to no avail
-Taking ownership of the folder to no avail
-I have tried using the hidden administrator account to no avail

I am pretty much at my wits end... no settings get saved and addons such as Questie reset every time I launch wow... all my settings revert every time I launch... everything.

I am going mad. Does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can actually resolve this problem? Have literally spent a lot of time trying to solve this and have been unable to.

Please help!
