ban appeal section?

been banned for about 3 days, no reason was stated, i guess it's not a unique case as there's plenty of people saying the same thing in the forums and on reddit. i made a couple posts in ban appeals, but does anyone even monitor them? i feel like a lot of people were banned in time for the new server to clear traffic or something, am i gonna have to take like a 3 week hiatus before this is resolved? i looked at the rules and i've literally done nothing to warrant a suspension, (inb4 every cheater says theyre innocent). i played fine on the night of the 5th, logged in on the 6th and im banned, no e-mail or anything, nor an in-game warning or prior message. i feel like by the time this is lifted and i get to play again, all the friends i was leveling with will be in their 40s while im still level 28, awesome.

Several things to note, yes the ban appeals are monitored but posting multiple will simply keep pushing you to the bottom of the queue for resolution. Your ban appeal is no more special than the others.

Additionally, there is a high chance that your account was compromised and then used to either traffic or supply gold buyers which resulted in it being closed.

You should be following all the steps in the Ban Appeal information thread.

Despite what you may think, your ban has nothing to do with a personal attack on you and your lack of account does nothing for the server. You are just one of hundreds of thousands of players who are going to play. So banning your account to help 'clear the queue' or something ridiculous is like trying to stop a bush fire with a cup of water.

Despite what you may think, gold farmers don't send you an email warning you of the impending use of your account. Nor do they leave a calling card after they are gone. But the account is banned all the same. This is likely the highest probability of what has happened to you, assuming that you didn't pay for gold/levelling or cheat in another fashion.

You will have to be patient with your ban appeal because you and the other people banned are many but even that is relative. You are still not even a fraction of a percent of the active accounts on the server. Claiming that a staff team would ban you for any reason to reduce traffic is simply stupid and very self absorbed. If they didn't want people playing on the servers, they wouldn't run them.

So, if you calm down and muster your marginal patience you will hopefully get a response soon. Posting here does not assist your cause in any way.

i never said the hackers would send an e-mail, are you daft? i was implying that i never received an e-mail from the moderators outlining why and when i was banned. also, what a nice sense of community. "you are still not even a fraction of a percent of the active accounts on the server", you're so right. what's 1 person? what's 10 people? 50? 1000 even? doesn't matter, more will come. what a cancerous mentality. the pretentiousness in your reply is palpable, but i did expect nothing less. i would've rather had a GM tell me to stfu and wait a little longer than some nobody.

I advise you not to come asking for it then.

As to the email you demand, they have have banned in excess of 3,000 gold farmer, seller, buyer and trafficker accounts. With only 2 false positves, but clearly your account is number 3? To send those emails would require an automated system which doesn't presently exist and to imply that the GM's should hand write an email to an account which has broken the ToS is laughable. That you think a GM will reply to a help topic about a ban appeal is funny too. They will simply respond to your ban appeal, they will also tell you why your account was banned in that appeal if you ask. They will not respond here. Have you seen how many help topics are made in just a single day?

Sorry but your free account is simply not worth that much time. Your ban appeal will be considered and responded to in a fair and reasonable fashion, in order, with the others received. No one skips the queue for any reason.

Your misgivings about this community based off my comments alone is also laughable. But then, I don't expect anything more.

I was also banned randomly and cant think of any reason why except for maybe for calling gold spammers cunts in tells when the spam me or maybe the name Nintendogz is against ToS? Put in an appeal and will have to be patient I guess.

yeah, there's apparently a lot of people that were banned randomly for no reason. and then we have guys like this other dude in the thread that just say, "you bought gold." or "maybe you shouldnt hack", "if you were banned then you deserved it." i just play the game, i enjoy playing the game, and wish to keep playing the game. sadly, in light of this new server, i cant even play on the old server.

Its pretty much this in every post i have read so far even though some of us were literally playing thirty minutes before we were banned.

i made my account when nostalrius opened up on the 17 of december and played up until january 5th, where i did rfk then logged out about 10 p.m., the next day (the 6th) i tried to log on after work and my account has been suspended. just in time for that new server to come up and all these "3000 people to be banned". really makes me nervous because i didnt break any rules (read the ToA about 3 times over) that would warrant me being banned. apparently there are like 800 people that have been banned too. i guess that isn't even a "fraction of the community". dude's mentality is like, "oh who cares? the server is free make a new account". nothing like wasting time, eh?

I never claimed you hacked nor bought gold. I offered it as a possible explanation but the one I presented was that your account was compromised.

But I can see that you are not interested in reason, continue with your witch hunt. I hope it yields everything you want.

witch hunt is a little off base for wanting an answer or my account's suspension lifted. "everything i want" is to continue to play the game, like the other 16000 people online are doing. i'm not the only one that was banned for no reason, you can read enough of it on the forums and reddit to see that people were unjustifiably banned, and it was most likely a mistake, maybe due to the broken cheat detection system. no need to be pretentious at all.

Everyone who says that, 99% of the time has either not verified their account for login (fresh made) or it has been compromised.

I know you don't want to hear this but chances are, a gold seller has taken everything from your account or tried to. Causing it to be banned.

But as per my initial point, here will get you no answers. Only a single ban appeal will get you anywhere. The GM's are certainly not out to get you. Any account (victim or perpetrator) related to gold selling or buying gets closed.

I don't really think hes talking about the GM's being out to get him i'm sure he understands his account was probably hacked or the cheat system falsely banned him. Its more of the people like you in the community saying he is only one account out of the many and that how could he possibly be the 3rd false positive when there are many other people posting that they have no idea why they are even banned. Its extremely annoying to hear that when you cant even play your account that you invested a lot of time into.

I seem to have fallen into this ban algorithm. Logged on to find my account was banned. Literally have done nothing but hardcore level with buddies of mine. I sure hope they can resolve this quickly, I'd hate to lose my progress...
