Yisi 1 Report post Posted January 15, 2017 Hello there, my problem is the following: After the 30min shutdown yesterdaym to rename the realms, I noticed that my WDB & WTF folders are completly empty. I thought its not really a big deal, since it will automaticly create a new one after I login the next time, right ? After loging in & out several times already, both folder still remain empty. I tried starting the WoW.exe as admin and it seemed to work, since the game settings were reset, but I couldn't get in with my usual account info. It kept disconnecting me instantly without any other message appearing. I now have the Config file in my WTF folder at least, but for me this whole thing still doesnt make any sense, and I have no idea how to fix it. I guess reinstalling the Client would help, but I'd like to know if there's any other option to fix it, without having to rework my whole UI again ... Thanks in advance!

Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted January 15, 2017 you might not be running as admin, you seemed a little uncertain if you were.
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted January 15, 2017 try this one too once you're running as admin: Right click on wow.exe. Select> troubleshoot compatibility. Select> try recommended settings. Select> start the Program.

Yisi 1 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Yea the problem is that I cant get into the game like this. I get disconnected instantly, when trying to open the game as an admin, or when I move the WoW folder out of 'Programs' and its the same when I try to run it with recommended settings.
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Is there a little box that says "read only" somewhere when you examine properties of wow.exe? uncheck that mother if there is.
