I cannot believe that you read one guys extremely biased story and consider it absolute truth lol. I have traded 100's of gold and it has never been an issue. There is clearly more going on in his case than he is owning up to.

See above.

When they got their hands on the list of several thousand people who bought gold about a month ago. That ban wave involved nearly 3,000 accounts. The staff team is 60 odd people. You cannot expect that kind of emailing. While some people are banned by GM's others are banned by the automatic systems on the server and so no GM would be involved anyway.

Logistically impossible to do manually without vastly more people.

The age of the information is redundant. It is all about the vast amount of it, the thousands of tickets, the tens of thousands of players, the hundreds of thousands of accounts. It just isn't that simple. If I asked you to email a thousand people with only 100 having the same reason. You wouldn't be able to do it.

Put in an appeal and you will find out. What is so hard about this to understand? lol

Well... it wouldn't be hard. I hear that you can export data from a database. Export the ban list. Then take the emails found associated with the banned accounts. Make an email list in outlook using said emails with the associated accounts and use functions to personalize the email.

You can make a function for ban reason, account name, character name, ban length, time, etc. It's not hard. It's already done for them just make the functions and the database does the rest.

All bans have reasons but the WoW 1.12.1 client does not support showing them and the autoban system cannot access the mail server to send emails because it is an ingame feature not a database one.

So you put in an appeal and ask why you were banned. I'd advise nicely but do whatever you want.

No response? I highly doubt it. The current turn around is 48 hours.

Okay, doubt it. But you're wrong. I think I can read my appeal. lmao

As I said, it has been presented to the Devs so they will look into it. It is very easy to call shots from the sidelines, is all I am getting at here.

Molotov is a terrible troll. Trying to troll me about what is on a forum only me and GMs can see. lol gg

Based on what I have been told by 2 GM's (including THE senior GM who does appeals) and that I know two people who put in appeals since the date you claimed and both got an initial response (and sometimes solution) within 48 hours). You'll have to forgive me for trusting them over you.
