I'm making a lvl 29 hunter twink, and just heard that it is no longer possible to complete the Nesingwary's quest chains before reaching lvl 30. AciDTRiP 2 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 explore everything at ~27, at 28 pick up the quest stay dead , you will still get the quest credit. I am pretty sure you can get all 3(rifle/tunic and gloves) if you do it correctly. Although the use of the chestpiece is questionable due to ally having the 11 agil chest and a 9/9 monkey &14 agil can spawn at 29 which i think is better as we dont have BC enchants yet 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I dont know if this is an example of an oversight but someone else has already done the footwork for me and found examples of this and also citations to prove that quests should be available. To quote: "Some quest level requirements are too high" "Particularly common with quest chains which should usually be completable with the requirement of the first quest. Some affected quests are: "Raene's Cleansing" quest chain (should be completable at 18) "In Search of Thaelrid" (should be completable at 18) "Dangerous!" (should be completable at 19) "Battle of Hillsbrad" quest chain (should be completable at 19)" https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/issue/967 On retail it was common knowledge among level 19s that these items were available because the entire chain level requirement was only as low as the initial quest that started it. This was during vanilla, and a lot of alliance had the furbolg transformation at 19 to show for it. In that link the player was able to find the game guide for retail from 2006 i believe and shows that these quests SHOULD be available, but are gated behind level requirements that are more in line with the actual required level to complete the quest (like if you are level 19 and the quest says go kill a bunch of level 30s, even though you could have done it on retail as a "red" quest, they are unavailable on elysium) This has made the BiS list for 19 twinks much less strong and ultimately caused the 10-19 bracket to not reflect how it really was in retail, because people sub out worse gear and cant play to their max potential.
