varr 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) So I do have working addons right now. But a couple other addons don't work. They don't show up on the addon list in the character select screen. They work for a friend and ostensibly for other people on the addon forums. I don't know what the cause could be. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thx. monmon 1 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 1.Check your addon folder: //worldofwarcraft/interface/addons 2.Make sure that the addon that is not showing up, is in fact in that folder. 3. Make sure that the addon is unpacked and not a .rar / .Zip file (if so unpack to //worldofwarcraft/interface/addons) 4. Make sure that the addon folder is not just a folder holding several subfolders with the actual addons (this happens with Atlas packs alot) If so cut/paste the actual folder containing the addon to //worldofwarcraft/interface/addons. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
varr 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2017 So I found out what it was and it was something that I've never come across before... The folder in question that the addon wasn't working on looked for example "addon-master". I noticed that none of the other addons that were working had the " -master" suffix on them, I just deleted that part of the name and *poof* it worked.
