mainfinity 1 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 Dont know where else to ask,but there is some strange thing with my fps.It happens only in wow.So i usually had from 200-300 fps but yday i noticed that it locked on 100.Then it suddenly became normal 200-300 again.So i tried lots of things and noticed that the fps lock dpeends on what website im alttabbed atm.Yes it sounds super wierd but yet if i alt tab on twitch my fps is normal,if i alt tab on google it becomes locked at 100.If i dont use browser at all its just constantly locked at 100.I have not a single idea wtf is that.I dont have vsync on,not in game nor in my gpu.My card is geforce 1060 gtx.Cs go,dota,battlefield all work normal without strange fps locks.Any suggestions? p.s:i know 100 is more than enough for wow i just want to figure out why is this happening. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Master Nurmi 3 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) I recall people actually fixing some WoW fps locks by opening browser so I think you are causing that. Latest ReShade did fix my frames for 144Hz monitor so maybe you could try and see if it prevents that browser thing from happening.Check OpenGL, borderless, no need to change gxApi from Config.wtf. Haven't mentioned this one before because my plan has been to post proper ReShade profile instead of just writing couple words with link to their homepage.
