[Elysium PvP] Shieldbreaker Company recruiting!

Strewn about every major city and surrounding towns are flyers advertising what would appear to be some sort of mercenary company. Known as the Shieldbreaker Company, the flyer would direct interested parties to contact a certain Marcus 'Wester' for more information.

In effort to bring together more of the scattered RP community, I bring to your attention an RP guild forming Alliance-side on Elysium-PvP, if any would be willing to create a new character on this realm in hopes of roleplaying, we would gladly assist your transition!

Greetings and salutations, Shieldbreaker Company is an upcoming RP guild that is look for more members! While still in the charter phase, we plan to be a RP focused guild with light PvP or PvE on the side. The Shieldbreaker Company is a mercenary band led by Marcus Wester and under the main employ of the Alliance. As such they serve as a sort of paramilitary group acting on the behalf of the Alliance to protect home territories and fight off Horde forces. However, the Shieldbreakers continue to accept smaller contract on the side that encompass various types of work. 

Being a mainly RP focused guild we will only be recruiting those who actively RP or are interested in learning, other plans for endgame content won't be excluded but are not our main priority. Some events, however, will contain wPvP elements! We hope to have at least one event a week as we get started but may increase to between two or three depending on size and active numbers.

Still attempting to find signatures to get the guild fully formed, we've got two already and a tentative third on the side. Understandable since everybody's still in the leveling focus, but if anybody would be interested in some RP while leveling, or just want to group up, go ahead and reach out here or in-game. I'm sure the few of us would be willing to help!

If anybody has thoughts of hopping ship to Elysium to join us, I recommend the sooner the better, the server is still young and we're all around the same pace!

This sounds like a really nice idea. But since it is very fresh, I was thinking if I may inform you that a similar guild already exist.

I would like to introduce you to The Order, a guild who's main purpose also is of mercenary hiring.

 

It's on Anathema PvP and consists of a gang of routined RPers and was formed 1.5+ years ago, and I am currently working on a little project to expand the guild further. It is only in the early state progress, but should our Order Marshal (GM) approve of my idea, it will be carried out swiftly but well so.

And perhaps, if you and the followers you have gathered so far don't wish to leave your own guild, maybe we could make some sort of collaboration between the two?

While I appreciate the concern, I am actually already aware of The Order, being an old acquaintance of it's leader from Nostalrius. I actually believe I still have my original Paladin, Gilliam, in the guild's roster. 

After transferring my Nostalrius account to Elysium, I found it hard to pick up where I had left off, and saw less interest from other old friends. I could be mistaken as I've shifted focus from Anathema, but the leader of the Order seemed to be taking a small hiatus as well? I never seemed to run into Kantius after my first time logging in after they opened the transfers.

Either way, perhaps a collaboration would be a good route to go, as I know The Order, much like the Arathi Command that exists on Elysium-PvP, is not a strictly RP guild but rather a PvP guild that encourages roleplay. I would prefer to have a guild that focuses mainly on RP and all else second, as such only actual roleplayers or those interested in learning would be invited. Elysium-PvP is merely the choice of server since it is one of the newer servers, second only to Zeth'kur if I'm not mistaken, and also the largest population.

I'll begin logging onto Gilliam every so often so we could further flesh out this possibility, but otherwise feel free to keep up contact here on the forum or find me on Wester, Alliance side Elysium.
