Authentification doesnt work for me

Sup guys,

 

because I am scared i wanted to establish the authentification via ip-adress. So I downloaded duo mobile, scanned the QR code. It recognized my account and i got the 6 digit Code to type in next. Next thing happens the website says "The six-digit code you provided did not work. Please provide the latest one from the application.". I already deleted the account and scanned a new qr code, same result. It recognizes my account but the 6 digit code doenst work...

I think you have to resync your auth application.

Google autenticator date/time resync. CΒΑ to do that for you.

Sorry bro but i got no idea what you talking about. Btw i downloaded the Duo Mobile app, not the google authentificator one

If you didn't allready enable 2FA with duo you can allways download the google app and enable it with that instead.

30 seconds of google found me this: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185834?hl=en

The very last issue worked for me, I'm sure there's a way to resync your Duo Mobile aswell if you don't feel like switching to Google Authenticator.

downloaded google authentificator, needed to resync, then it worked. cheers guys, can be closed now
