Hopefully the Elysium team can address this issue when they are back on. I would think that hundreds of people getting banned for no reason would raise some immediate flags. Especially with all the in-game bugs that have been going on.

a GM responded to me and said it takes 24-48 hours to review these cases

I was banned 2 weeks ago and still haven't had a real response on my appeal about why the ban was made. really saddening I was on such a leveling roll

Same problem to me. I sold a lot of stacks of dark iron for about 200g and get ban. Wrote ban appeal almost 11hours ago and no response.

Imho GM banned everyone who got an illegal gold and they don't care by which way it was made. =(

I'm confident they will fix it. too many people were wrongly banned and its blatant from this thread alone. dont lose hope!

yeah im sure plenty bought gold like retards, but theres a large amount of people in my guild and I personally know outside this thread who got banned and I KNOW they didnt purchase gold.

I used to work with Law Enforcement. Part of my duties was visiting prisons on occasions for official business. Now in prisons, there's only two kinds of people: employees and innocent people. I never met an inmate who wasn't innocent. Funny, huh?

If I learnt something from my stint with law enforcement, is that 99% of what ppl tell you is BS and the remaining 1% is lies.

So yeah, you can understand why I don't believe you are innocent. They don't ban without reason.

I'd look for a new hobby if I were you. Also tell the same thing to those ppl whom you KNOW they "haven't bought gold". Personally, I wouldn't even trust my wife if I had one, much less "other ppl" especially when they claim to be innocent. "Innocent" is way overrated ya know.

Nah this is just too weird... I never bought gold in all my life, why would I since the economy has many ways to profit with in the game? I also got banned and looking at how many others are claiming the same thing. You wouldn't risk buying gold if you have a 60 on your account....theres no need to buy it since you can easily make it. 

Those who have a 60 know how much work they had to put into raising it to max level and gearing it up.

Yeah.. Like I've repeated multiple times I am the guild master of my raiding guild and some of my friends affected are leadership positions in the guild. It is common sense that if you buy gold you'll be caught, the amount of time I invested into this guild, raiding, helping my friends progress and gear with me is no where near worth the risk. Not to mention as a guild who raids 3 times a week, making money from mats/boes to pay for anything i may need is more then doable without cheating.

Perfect example, nobody would risk buying gold unless your a low lvl maybe because you want to buy a mount or whatever. But even that is not even an excuse since you can easily get the 90g you need by lvl 40...

I'm trying real hard to be positive and not rip on them, but it's not like Its a bunch of people who bought Gold to get mounts. These are people in raiding guilds,. Heads of community and raiding guilds that I've talked to who are affected as well as people in this thread who have said it. I'm not even referring to myself or my own guild. This ban has left many communities and guilds within this server question if they're going to continue investing their time into this. I personally can say I don't spend 14 hours a day on this to just decide I wanna buy gold and get banned and I don't think it's fair that this many people have had to suffer all day without any response from a gm.

Pretty safe to say that I don't give a flying fuck about your guild getting angry. Exactly why should I give a fuck again?

In other news, reviewing your bans will take over 48 hours, and the Ban Reviews GM reviews bans from oldest to newest, so don't bump your ban appeals as it will just take more time.

In the meantime, find another hobby b/c no matter how many posts you make, it won't make the process go any faster.
