Audio is really choppy, not sure how to fix.

My in game audio is extremely choppy and often sounds extremely low quality. However, sometimes when I play it is completely fine (maybe only 10% of the time) but later it will inevitably go back to being choppy again. The audio for me is extremely inconsistant and I was hoping someone would know the solution.

Someone on Reddit told me to console command it from 12 sound channels to 64 sound channels, however this did not solve my issue.
