Game is running on taskbar but is invisible??

I downloaded the game, set up the realmlist, I've tried compatibility modes and nothing seems to work.

I can hear the music but the game is invisible and loaded into the top left of my screen and nothing I've done has fixed this including changing the settings in retail wow.

Has anyone encountered this before? I'd like to play Vanilla with my friends but apparently I'm just not allowed to.

Try and reduce your grafic resolution @ windows , it seems you have some issue on your gpu , double check the realmlist and give it some time , this cliente i so clunky it hurts!

Thanks for the suggestion! I dropped my res to 800x600 in my nvidia control panel and now the game works no matter the resolution.
