Multiple Client Issues, immediate D/C + No mouse

So I've finally got it installed, changed the realmlist.wtf to the proper location. Except the following happens upon startup:

- My mouse isn't displaying

- When I try to log in, I immediately get disconnected. (My realmlist directory is correct, I've checked)

I scoured the forums but similar questions went unanswered. Anyone help?

I'm having the same problem.

My mouse does show but I get disconnected right away and have over checked everything.

How do you get it into Windowed mode? is that the issue? it loads up in full screen?

Okay, so I've got it to open properly. Horrible resolution, but I can fix that once I log in. Except: I still can't log in. Enter UN/PW and get immediately disconnected. Any tips?

No, just full screen. I fixed compatibility (set it to run in Windows XP default compatibility) and my mouse shows up. I just can't log in now.

Right on, Yeah I'm just having trouble logging in as well that's it.

Apologies for not seeing #7 earlier, I checked that list but must have missed that point. 

I'm able to create characters now, but upon logging into the world, I get kicked off again. Still at a loss as to how all these things keep happening...

Thanks for the link. I do not see any of which was stated on #7 in my config.wtf file? Any tips

I'll try. I'm able to log in, create characters, and load the world. But once it drops me in the world, everything freezes and I get d/c'd. Will try other compat modes, see if that helps.

If it is not present, add SET realmName "Desired realm"  is what it says to do, I have SET realmName "Anathema" and it wont connect. I have also tried all compats prior to this and they haven't worked.

Huzzah, Win7 was the compatibility mode I needed. Thanks for the help!

set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org    That is what I have copied from site. I really appreciate the help Jorn

All I did was change the realm name to one of their realm names, I chose Anathema. After that, set compatibility mode to Win7 and now I can play it in 4k resolution just fine with no issues.

Hmmm there is nothing with realmname in the config.wtf file i tried adding it in as well can you copy and paste yours?
