Cannot connect, information not valid

Evening everyone. Just signed up and was able to verify my account (obviously) but when i try to log in, it gets to authenticating before disconnecting saying that my Information is Not Valid, Check wow.com blah blah. Now, I was able to create a new account and log in, however the authentication email never came through. 

 

So bottom line, this is the name and account i'd like to work, what am I missing? Thank you in advance for the patience and assistance

It seems like you are saying you created a forum account, not a game account.  Read this thread to get started.  Also, it seems to me that when you create game account, you don't actually need the verification any longer to login.  I just helped a guildie make an account, she signed on without verification.
