Deroleek 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) Hello there, Apologies if this isn't the correct place for this but I'm running into an issue that started this morning (I'm guessing after the 2/1/17 development updates) where my WoW OSX Client is no longer working. Behavior: 1. Launch "WoW Classic" 2. WoW launches briefly, no log-in screen/window appears but I see the mouse cursor change to the WoW gauntlet cursor for a second then it reverts back to OSX mouse cursor. 3. The WoW application is running (menu bar at the top of the screen is accessible) but none of the options are helpful (I tried "switch to full screen mode" and "hide"/"show" to no avail). Troubleshooting: 1. Restarted Machine and performed SMC and PRAM reset 2. Deleted WDB Folder and com.blizzard files (User -> Library -> Preferences) 3. Tried Launching "WoW Classic" and "World of Warcraft" (WoW Classic -> Package Contents -> MacOS) via sudo command in Terminal Environment: 1. OSX 10.11.6 2. Macbook Pro Retina 15" Mid 2015, 2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048MB 3. World of Warcraft 1.12.1 Mac I've included the most recent Error Log below, any help would be greatly appreciated! yodaman007 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) When launching WoW Mac Client receive any of the following issues: Black Screen WoW cursor, but cannot move Mac cursor over black window My troubleshooting steps to resolve: Take config.wtf file from my PC’s client Edit to include: SET gxWindow “1” Place in the WTF folder of the Mac client I was then able to launch WoW, but the resolution and even mouse clicking was wayyy off. I was able to adjust video settings to the proper settings to play. I did find that I am unable to play Windowed Mode Fullscreen, must choose either Windowed Mode or Fullscreen. If you don’t feel comfortable doing all this, just hit me up on discord and I’ll send you my config file when I can.
