Laroz 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 Seen a few similar posts but none that answered to my problem. I play on a mac, downloaded client, renamed the wtf, but all I get after putting in name and password is disconnected from server. Nothing else. Been looking all through the net on what could be the issue but can't find any answers. set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org is what I have renamed to. Any ideas?
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 Did you create a game account? If so are you getting any error messages?
Nosus 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 My friend is also unable to connect right now, just gets D/C'd every time he tries to log in. He hasn't played in a few days but everything was working before.
JNH1225 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 I'm getting this too. I enter my password and it has the whole "Connecting...Success! Connected" and then it hangs for half a second and then it pops up, "Disconnected from server" as if the server were down.
JNH1225 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 If anyone here is still having this issue, consider what realm the game is connecting you to. I was having this issue only to figure out I was trying to connect to a test realm. Clearing my WTF let the game suggest a realm again. Clicking "english" and "PvE" got me to Darrowshire perfectly.
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 Make sure you are operating as administrator. Right click wow.exe and set to administrator. Make sure you are launching from wow.exe and not any launcher if you have one. If the wow folder is in program files, move it out of there. Does your realmlist.wtf say: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org ? if not, use notepad to write that in there. If it already did, you can try using the IP address instead: set realmlist 164.132.233.125 and Pottu's post about DirectX
