anonimouse117 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 I apologize if this has already been posted (I'm sure it has), but I cannot find a search feature in the forum and I looked through some support threads and did not find an answer. Every time I exit the game and get back in, ALL of my settings are reset (Video, Sound, Interface, etc.). How do I go about fixing this? I can't be the only one. Also, just in case this is helpful to someone else. In fullscreen, my game kept experiencing "flickering" of the screen. I have remedied that by going to "properties" of the .exe file and disabling DPI (under compatibility tab). Anyway, happy to join the community and hope it does not go away like Nostalrius did. Thanks in advance for any help!
Ellipsea 36 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 right click wow.exe and set to operate a administrator. Also if your wow folder is in program files, move it anywhere else.
IAMSADWARVENS 1 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 Make sure you dont just right click the game and close it, or altf4 it. Just logout and exit the game.. Sometimes if you right click and close or ALTF4, it will not save settings.
anonimouse117 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 (edited) Thank you guys, I will try both methods and report back with findings :) EDIT: I tested it - SUCCESS! I did both - moved the entire install out of Programs (to C-drive) and configured the .exe file to run as admin. Now when I launch the app, not only are all of my settings saved, but it also allows me to save/remember the username during login (which it didn't before). Thanks again for the help!
