Tune 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2017 As a lowbie here I've been watching horde owning alliance in Arathi, STV and Tanaris. The entire day was mostly running and dying from 60's ganking lowbies lol....is it really that big of a deal to go and gank useless lowbies for hours and where is the alliance?? For 2 hours a few horde was doing nothing but killing the FP dude in tanaris..cheesh! I should of rolled horde or find a leveling buddy. Anyway, I LOVE world PvP, the battles and the interaction but cmon whats up with the bullying??
Dreary 2 Report post Posted February 19, 2017 50/50 Horde have a geographical advantage in most zones, this was intentional design by Blizzard to entice people to play Horde, since most of the favorite Warcraft RTS heroes were related in some form to the Alliance. It didn't work, retail Vanilla was still massively Alliance dominated. The Horde's geographical advantage gave them somewhat a more even footing. On private servers, however, we end up with situations like this where population is 50/50 but one side has an inherent advantage. End-game is quite even. While leveling, ganking definitely happens to both sides, but expect to be ganked more if playing Alliance.

FullRetard 1 Report post Posted February 20, 2017 (edited) Alliance killed several flight masters, including the Tanaris flight master, while I was leveling. I also had to deal with Varimathras and Thrall being dead (10 hour respawn) in the same week. Alliance 60s camped the Battle of Hillsbrad quest areas for an entire week. Horde also cry constantly in zone chat about how they are losing in world pvp and the other horde are gutless wimps that won't fight. This shit has nothing to do with faction. Welcome to Vanilla.
