Quest Bug: Gyrodrillmatic Excavationators

When I attempted to turn in my quest for Gyrodrillmatic Excavationators, I pushed the complete quest without selecting my quest reword.  The game seemed to give me the exp and reputation for the quest, but not the quest reward.  Also the quest became stuck in my quest log with the (Complete), and the NPC Klockmort Spannerspan has a permanent silver ! indicator above his head.  I then abandon the quest to see if I could redo/turn it in, however it did not work, with the NPC being bugged, no quest reward, and the quest items still in my bags.  Currently the quest items are sitting in my bank.  How do I go about resolving this?
