Keep getting "Disconnected from server" when logging on

I have been playing for several months and had no problems. Yesterday I was questing like normal in STV and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Today I cannot log into the server I keep getting the "Disconnected from server" message whenever I submit my user and password. My user is "SwedenInTokyo".

I have no idea why this would start happening.

The issue was resolved. I found instructions on the Elysium discord which stated to just spam log in over and over. I did that and it worked. It did not work if I tried to log in every 10 mins for 1 hour. But doing it over and over for like 10 secs made it work.

they need to just give up and close the servers so people can play on servers that the people hosting can actually properly run

If there is a different server you'd prefer to play on, Elysium being online doesn't hinder your ability to go there.  This makes no sense whatsoever.
