Missing messages from guild and world channels

Even when I'm in a major city to know that people aren't mt'ing from other channels, it's become pretty clear to me that I'm not receiving messages, even from my guild channel. I've asked others while on Discord, and some messages are being lost.

Any idea what I can do to resolve this?

Thank you, but I don't have an issue with whispers... mainly noticing it on guild chat, LFG, world and trade. I see some messages, but not every one.

You should take a look at Paytimes response in the thread (although you shouldn't receive any messages if you have the problem the thread covers).
However it's kinda weird, that you are only not receiving some messages.
Do you have any Addons installed that could possibly filter the chat?

I use spam throttle, which shouldn't be too much of a hindrance (only default filters), but I'll turn it off for a while and see how it goes. Also while I think of it, I have an empty ignore list.

You could also try to disable your addons one by one to figure out which one is causing the issue.

Yeah, I'm still losing messages and there's nothing else that's obviously causing it. I'll look further into it tomorrow.

If other ideas come to anyone, I'm all ears.
