fattymaroon 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 So I just healed in an onyxia raid today. I was pretty low in the healing stats which came as a bit of a surprise as when I am in MC I am near the top of the healing meters (top 3 in MC vs 8 or 9 today in Ony). Some of this is me learning the fight, I noticed I had about 30% overhead and that can be practiced and improved. I am curious though if it is normal for shamans to end up at the lower ends of the healing meters for Ony. Seems to me that our most effective tool - chain heal - is mostly useless in phases 1 and 2. However if shamans are NOT usually underperforming as healers in ony, I would like to try and figure out how I can improve. Any and all advice appreciated, thanks.
Stormfront 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2017 Yes, a shaman will normally be outperformed by another healing class that knows what they are doing here, people still want tons of shamans for tremors, WF, threat reduction (raw output isnt everything) Just throw on 5/8+ T1 if you have it and remember to drop a tremor in phase 3.
