Speedy 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2017 Hello! Lovely place, been enjoying the nostalgia attack. I had two questions regarding Children's Week. The orphan that gives the quest is obviously not working as intended, but that's okay.. so long as at the end there is a turtle pet. I get one quest from him at level 10 to fetch some ice cream, but the next quest has a grayed out ! to me. 1. What level do I have to be to get that next quest? 2. Does someone who does these quests get a choice of pets at the end? Turtle. Turtle. Turtle. Thank you! :>
Speedy 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2017 Have no fear, I have answered my own questions. At level 18, the orphan gave me another quest to get Jaina's Autograph. After that, nothing. But, I found a weird Watcher Callahan (sp?) on the way to Duskwood on the road who offered me the final Children's Week quest for the pets. Unfortunately there is no where to turn this in, and even if there was, I do not have the whistle to complete the quest. Alas, no turtle. :(
Speedy 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2017 I noticed someone running around with an orphan today. Filled with hope, I went to the orphan matron in the Cathedral Square, and she was handing out the starting quest again. This time she gave me an orphan whistle! When I summoned the orphan, he did not have any quests for me, but I went out to the strange Watcher Calahan in Duskwood, and he gave out the final orphan quest, as he did before. I went back to Stormwind, and this time since I had a whistle, I could turn the quest in with the matron. Oh happy day, turtle! Thanks whomever fixed this so the pets are achievable. Well, sort of fixed. :>
