My warrior problems

Hello all hope every one is doing good. So I leveled to level 29 as a warrior and I feel like I made a mistake.

I may complain a bit but please forgive me. So ...   

I just wanted to say that retialiation shares a coldown with shield wall. And my weapon and armor macros no longer work. Also it seems death wish does less damage. And some level 60 purple weapons have been nerfed for warriors.

 

Now I am not going to judge any one, but warriors don't look like a good class on Elysium to roll. I started rolling a shaman in hopes I don't get nerfed and I will be pvp viable.

I know that people bring warriors in for the mortal strike debuff, but I think I am wasting my time leveling a warrior for pvp and pve. Tanking wise I can do good, but pvp wise, I feel useless even when geared. Now I am only level 29 but I think these nerfs have really made warrior so weak they are no longer tier 1 or good in anyway.

 

any ways that's just my experience. Does any one have the same problems or feel the same way I do ? Maybe I am a noob.

No guilds on Elysium would dare bring a MS warrior to a raid at this juncture because of debuff slots. And what weapons have been nerfed? If you're referring to Death Bringer and VisKag, they are as they should be now. They'll get buffed in coming patches. 

 

As far as fury warrior dps goes, a geared fury warrior that farms like any other melee dps should be pushing for top spots in raid dps, especially in MC with a lot of tank and spank fights.

Warrior have always been difficult in vanilla pvp wise - if you have good gear you can be very viable

If you have mediocre gear but have a pocket healer you can still go full beast mode and crush people , however there are a lot of things you can do as a warrior to counter these things but warrior vs mage - mage always wins (unless the mage is utter shit) :P

Warrior's pretty rough in vanilla.  I'm working on a clone of my age-old retail character, and I'm up to the low-thirties in level so far.

Unfortunately warriors are really dependent on the instant damage attacks that aren't available until level 40.  Once you can learn MS/BT/SS things feel quite a bit better, so that's one thing to keep in mind.  Also, some of the things like berserker stance intercept and fear-break are pretty crucial in PvP.  The 40's bracket was when I first started really enjoying PvP as a warrior, although they do have some pretty hard counters.

Vanilla warriors are one of those classes that is really weak at low levels and with poor gear, but at higher levels with investment can be really fun.  But you have to be able to pay your dues and take some beatings while other classes are dancing around on easy street.

Consider how much you like about the core defining aspect of the Warrior class, which is physical combat and tanking abilities.  It seems like you might end up preferring shaman, since they're a little bit more versatile and self-sufficient, especially in PvP.
