Realm distinctions

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I was here at server launch, but I saw it was too laggy and with too many hyped players flooding the place so I decided to leave. I'm back now but I see 4 realms, and I'm kind of lost. If there's a link to a topic that I could not find please post it. However, if there's not, would someone be so kind of giving me a quick explanation of what's what? For each realm I'd like to know:

- Name

- Type (PvP or PvE)

- Wether it was a migration or a fresh start

- Wether it runs on the "good" server or the "bad" server

- Any other information you might consider useful

Thanks in advance.

Anathema (Nostalrius PvP) - PvP - 1.9 (AQ release)

Darrowshire (Nostalrius PvE) - PvE - 1.7 (ZG release)

Elysium & Zeth'Kur (Fresh starts) - PvP - 1.3

Zeth'kur is transferring to the other three servers, ending in a forced merge into Anathema if no selection is voluntarily made (see: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/47489-zethkur-migration-—-transfers-starting-june-7th)

There is no 'good' or 'bad' server, whatever that's supposed to mean.

Also, reference https://elysium-project.org/timeline

Interesting to know about Zeth'Kur.  It's probably a good thing to have it merge.

To OP, if you're interested in PVP i just started Elysium and it is incredibly active.  It's not to the point where spawn camping will make you nuts, but there's people everywhere i go.  From my random checks, hoard seems to have a slight advantage in population so i'm glad i picked it to play alliance (I always prefer the underdog).

Also, last night was only my third night playing, but i have had absolutely no issues with server performance here in upstate New York.
