sphare 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2017 what do you guys think about a gm which is only for bg's responsible, because the amount of afk farming ppl is ridicolous. im not sure if a gm can just switch between the bg's invisble and kick out the afkers. and how about introduce a bg ban for afkers? its really really really annoying losing bg's just cus 3-4 ppl afk from the beginning. like every. fucking. game. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Report post Posted June 9, 2017 Our ticket system is the appropriate method to report AFKers - more often then not we receive just a quick few word message of "<name> afk in BG plz ban" with no evidence via screenshots, recordings, or context and that's not including the numerous AFKers that never get reported at all. These reports are worthless in the immediate as they require us to then investigate the player and watch for further behavior - which means multiple team members checking around the clock to verify the accusation for every report. Multiply that by 4 (soon 3) servers and add that in with the multitude of other issues we have to deal with and you begin to understand why this is a problem. Additionally, AFKing starts off with a warning per our Terms of Use. If someone is caught doing it once, they'll likely do it again - keep reporting them. Sanctions accumulate to longer bans the more a player offends, and we have no qualms about sanctioning a player who continues to break the same rule despite being warned. However: be honest. Give us the facts about what happened, take screenshots, and note every time it happens. The players are the Project's biggest strength, and without the players helping us we would not be nearly as effective at helping you. Would adding a dedicated Game Master to battlegrounds resolve this? Maybe. However, that is not an effective use of their time, as there are many things a GM can be doing to assist our players and Battlegrounds are one part of many. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
sphare 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2017 first of all thank you for this good response. i tried to report some ppl afking but its like u already mentioned, its really hard to give you proofs of the aking (how want you to proove this via screenshot? + i dont have really the hdd space + performance on pc to record every bg just for this :/ ) i also think its useless to report them via ticket cus you guys never have the manpower to resolve this. i think maybe just do the bg check in "waves" which are not regurarly. like 1 gm should just check this 1 hour per week or something like that and insta punish the afk ppl. it would get around fast that afk gets punished. and maybe announce this in the news, so alot of ppl reads this and respect this. i really know you guys have all hands full of stuff to do and i dont want to be like " PLSSS GMS DO THIS NOW" i just want you to maybe suggest this and keep it in mind to find a solution, cus it really takes away the fun :( ps: if you need a guy for this, i would gladly do this for a certain time a week 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
