Ember_shade 1 Report post Posted June 30, 2017 Greetings again to all the RPers! I have heard many times since I joined that there is all this "talk" of RP, but no action. So this is just a small notice that soon (date and time are TBD) <The Kinship> will be hosting three events that will be open to the public. They are all still in the planning stages but I wanted everyone to know they have some things to look forward too. The Ritual Of Fire: This is a symbolic RP event that will be hosted monthly, allowing characters to step up to the flames and let go of the past, and "from the ashes move forward". The Tournament of Kin's: (Yeah a lil cheesy play on words but I like a lil whimsey!) this is an RP combat tournament that will utilize the kinship's combat roll system, the same system we will use during our RP combat encounters during guild plots and story lines. There will be a gold prize to the overall victor. This event will take much more time and planning than the previously mentioned events so be patient! This will also have several smaller mini-events that will take place as well, such as registering for the tournament on your character, being assigned a number etc. Tournament Conditioning: This is an event that will be a precursor to the actual Tournament Of Kin's that will give everyone interested in participating a chance to RP practicing for the event, as well as a chance OOC to experience and learn how the combat system works. This way we do not run into the issue of someone not understanding something and having to pause the whole event or slow it down to explain. I hope everyone will enjoy the events and once I get a set date and time for each I will be posting more detailed information on the forums, the discord channel, and on the guild website (In a section viewable by non-guild members).
