holeHeartless 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Hello, I know this is a strange issue but please hear me out. My character, Peoness on Elysium is my main character. I've spent countless hours fishing in Moonglade/Wailing Caverns to make gold to twink her in the lvl 29 PvP bracket. I've kept a close eye and tracked my experience since I was dangerously close to leveling to 30. Until the recent server interruption this morning at around 1200 server time, I was sitting at XP 43625/44300. While farming Young Crocolisk's for Tender Crocolisk Meat I opened up an explored part of the map for 230xp to harvest a Wild Steelbloom which put me at 43855/44300. I then attempted to harvest a Liferoot but aggroed some green mobs which would have given me XP so I started running away. The mobs stopped following me and suddenly I couldn't cast. I assumed the server was going down and I tried checking the website but it wouldn't load. Eventually I was able to log back in but the crash had taken me out of the Battleground que. So i started running up to Refuge Point same as I always do on an Arathi Basin holiday weekend to que up. I entered the portal, put my headphones on and minimized the screen to do some work while waiting for the BG to start. When i came back, some guild mates asked me why I leveled out. I asked them what they were talkign about and sure enough I was 1x into lvl 30!!! Somehow between logging back in and running straight to Refuge Point which has never netted me XP since I opened up the path on the map, I had gained 455xp. I am utterly devastated!! This bracket means everything to me. I've made so many friends and we work hard to get good competitive games going. Twinks on both sides are like minded people who enjoy BG PvP and I've developed a friendly rivalry with many of them. I don't know what happened that gained me 455xp but I am convinced that it was somehow related to the server crash. Please at least look into this further and let me know if the erronious 455xp can be removed! I realized that you all are busy with much more pressing issues but I wanted to say in advance that I very much appreciate any time you can spare looking into this. Please let me know if you need anything further from me! Best Regards, Peo!
Guest Report post Posted July 17, 2017 There is nothing the team can do to assist you. It is completely up to the player deciding to stay at the max level of a bracket to monitor their experience gains themselves and ensure they take every measure to limit their experience gains.
