Heartcraft 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Having problem getting started. Every time I try to unpack/zip the downloaded client-game it always stops at "terrain.MPQ" and freezes my computer . The window with following message pops up: "Read error in the file E:/ELYSIUM/World of Warcraft 1.12 Client.rar" followed by another window: "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." Every other file from the zip is extracted successfully except the "terrain.MPQ" and the game wont let me play because that file is missing ! I have seen this problem occurring to sever people here but havent seen anyone resolve it. *My PC fulfills all the sys/req , I have been playing MoP without any trouble so that shouldn't be a problem (Win7,32bit if this means anything) *All files are extracted from WinRAR , except terrain.MPQ ofc. http://imgur.com/a/2rSrV http://imgur.com/a/IWNiB http://imgur.com/a/ILJFn 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
