Anathema online player base is dead but offline is not, don't forget about them.

Recommended Posts

Quite literally there are thousands of players still on Anathema-many of them very well geared, of course most of these players remain offline.
Does anyone else besides me think it might not be such a bad thing to let the server run it's due course? Avoid a merger with Elysium (but possibly allow transfers for active players that wish to) and absolutely forget about any TBC expansion. Keep Anathema up as long as possible so that even if the server population dies to the point where there's no more raiding guilds we can still log back onto our T2 toons a year from now and have fun dueling the 30 other people logged on. I think it's a good thing to let the offline players keep their characters the way they are and where they are. Those characters are a token of the work and effort we all put in. If the server is dead it's still fun to log back in and reminisce about the experience of it all. Even that is another way to experience the game.
All of us have our limits in vanilla; the game isn't supposed to last forever, but after a while it's always nice to come back to these characters and play around again. Personally, I think it'd be great to know I could count on this server for that. One day it'll shutdown, all these servers will, but until then keep our vanilla vanilla.

None of that sounds appealing. Logging on to dual... wow. Seeing as you have one post I'm guessing kids from elysium are making throw away accounts just to put bad ideas on the forums.

LOL so what your saying is that you want Anathema to die and have all the active players transfer to Elysium? Def sounds like an Elysium player wants to suck more players from other servers even though yall are already populated. And also no one wants Anathema to end up like Feenix besides you.
