i know that the people who are in charge of elysium dont plan on doing server transfer but the idea im giving doesnt violate what this person said right here 

The Elysium Project team is always interested to hear feedback from the players. However, we do have our project philosophy, which is to create and maintain a Blizzlike vanilla server for all players. This means that some suggestions will always be refused and posting them is a waste of time.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of suggestions that you should not bother posting:

1.Dual-spec

2.Removed / reduced re-spec costs

3.Dungeon finder / group finder

4.Name / race / class / faction / appearance change services

5.Any Pay-To-Win services

6.Increased XP / Gold / Honour rates

7.WoD models or allowing players to edit game files

We reserve the right to add more suggestions to the list if necessary. Thank you for keeping this list in mind.

 

 

 

so heres my idea that doesnt violate any of that i suggest that there be a server transfer (optional) for alliance but this is mainly for the horde the idea is that we could transfer toons from darrowshire and anethema to elysium because for the horde those servers are DEAD people will point out that 600 people was avg for vanilla servers but ive done some investigating and took the time to investigate every zone which took a long time and saw only like 1-2 people in some and none in others and most were capped others maybe art recommended levels minus the capital cities though but even those look barren compared to elysium (BTW im talking mainly the horde side)  and i hope it isnt too much to ask that we get a transfer and i get that there are some things wrong with this poblem like on darrowshire there will be level 60s with ann qiraj gear but we are not up to that point in elysium so maybe make it so that only people level 59 and or below could transfer and i KNOW that its possible because of the zeth kur transfer. i understand that there were some problems with the server recently to i dont expect it to happen instantaniously i would at least like some acknowledgement from a staff member and i would if you guys do plan on doing it it would be GREAT if it could happen before the ann qiraj update i hate sounding like an A-Hole but this needs to be said and i KNOW you guys arent "B" so i know that you will give a response and thank you for giving us a chance to experience vanilla again :D'

EDIT PLEASE READ: and if it is not possible to transfer people from a dead server to elysium (i just saw a post about this) maybe take some people from elysium and EVERYONE from darrowshire and plump them into anathema the reason i personally am asking this is because i have a 58 or lock on darrowshire which was once populated but is now dead with 600 ppl online and an ally to horde ratio of 75%-25%

To be honest, I believe the last thing Elysium needs right now is new players, since it's population is already causing the server to struggle and lag.

Ironically, I think the opposite is what would benefits all servers, including Elysium itself: closing Elysium for new players or limiting it's population. That would automatically cause Anathema to absorb new players and have more activity, and restrict Elysium to a healthy population that the server machine itself can handle. It seems that right now, that machine struggles with so many silultaneous connections.

I would set the population limit low and start new servers if needed, from the very beginning, and I believe many people would prefer to level up a new character there knowing no level 60 with Tier 2 would gank them.
