Another question about which realm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Recommended Posts

Sorry in advance because I know these kind of questions are asked frequently.
I'm currently having (leveling) a dwarven priest on Anathema and, after suggestions, if I should give Elysium a shot.

I first joined Anathema because I heard that the raiding quality on Ana is much higher than it is on Ely and my main goal is leveling up quickly and entering quality raid as soon as possible. I have raiding experience from before - retail WoW vanilla and other games - and would like to continue on here.

I've met a great community when I was on Anathema, however I'm a bit curious whether I could catch up with necessary gear for the upcoming raids. If I join Elysium, I don't know what the raiding scene (and community in general) looks like on the other hand. I think catching up on Ely would be easier, since I didn't miss as much, however I really don't want to experience TBC that soon and I've heard Ana will be the first server to get TBC.

Also: EU player, if that matters somehow.

Looking forward to the incoming replies ♥

You don't need to worry about the TBC realm if you don't want to play there.  Characters are going to be copied, not moved, so you can just play on Anathema indefinitely if you want.

Honestly man, if you are having a good experience on Anathema just stay there like Myllz suggested. Elysium is fun because of the huge pop but that is also its downfall. Leveling is harder in zones due to so many people, ganking is a shit show, and end game can be frustrating due to the "quantity over quality" aspect of players at 60.
