Monster24 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2017 I followed all the steps in order to play and to startup the game but when I click on the WoW icon a screen pops up and says "World of warcraft quit unexpectedly". I've downloaded utorrent and Unarchiver to download the torrent and to unzip the .zip. I've even tried multiple times, hope some one on here can help me out, Im not too familiar with this process at all to be honest but trying my best. Also Im using a early 2015 macbook pro model and using macOs Sierra if that helps. Thanks!
draugs 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2017 I had the same issue as you describe and for me the problem was resolved by using a different unzip program. When I used "The Unarchiver" I got an error when I tried to launch WoW, but when I unzipped it with the built in unarchiver tool the game launched without any issues. I suggest you give it a go with a different unarchive program
Monster24 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2017 I downloaded the Unarchiver from the official apple store, is there a different unarchive program you recommend?
draugs 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2017 You could try with UnrarX. It should work. But the one I used is called "Arkivverktyg" (in Swedish). Translates to Archive tool. I think it's the one that comes included with Mac OS.
