copying low level characters and name availability

Hey Elysium,

I was wondering if all characters (including low-level characters) will get copied over to the upcoming TBC realm automatically? Someone has my preffered IGN and has never played the game anymore after lvl 5, which I'm still sad about that I didn't get this unusual name on launchday. Let me be clear that It's nowhere gamebreaking for me ofcourse as I simply changed my name. But I was thinking, maybe I'm not the only one who prefers a namechange to overwrite an abandoned low-level character like they did with League of Legends some time back. Has there been thought about this by any chance?
