taking a short break from WoW? try this forgotten game gem

Recommended Posts

hey! in an attempt to get some more people to play together on occasion, i tell you of NOX, either nobody knows or everybody forgotten about this little game from 17 years ago

it is an isometric action rpg, featuring an extremely underrated multiplayer

abundance of superb, deep mechanics is why this game has never got any successor, you have to combine technical/manual skills and play mind games on your opponents, often just spectating players trying to kill each other on different maps is entertaining enough, quick thinking and fast use of your keyboard/mouse is crucial

it comes with a gorgeous graphic style and sounds that make a very consistent experience

sadly NOX doesnt get that many players online these days, if you check regularly you may find someone battling it out on the online community servers, though if there are even a few players doing battle on a map, it is a show to be enjoyed

if you wish to play:

getting playing online is simple, no registration is required, you are free to download the community installer + patch, follow these steps:

google the "noxcommunity" website, go to "download" section

click on "MAIN" subsection

download "NoX - the installer for nox"

download "NoXsolution"

install nox, then install the patch (be sure that you check westwood online along with the other parts)

(be sure that you launch the game with GAME.exe, as administrator)

follow this guide to connect:

nox community also has a reddit and discord page, you can find that with some googling

give it a go if you have free time and see somebody online
