Character Restoration w/ 2FA for Account?

Hello, been trying for some time, as suggested, to restore my characters for when Stratholme is released, however, my account had a 2FA setup, would this cause issues with restoring characters?
Each time I attempt to restore it says failed password or authentication, so I'm just curious... thanks in advance.
